Cardio + Strength is an energizing 60 minutes of cardio conditioning and strength training. This head-to-toe workout will have you working in all planes of motion, emphasizing form and technique so you move safely and more efficiently. Expect to sweat and have a great time doing it! Each teacher brings their own unique style and energy to their class.
From the Capital Striders: "Welcome to a friendly, quiet, long-standing neighborhood run. There's usually a group every M/W/F - and many regulars don't bother to RSVP, so there might be a large group even if only one person is signed up on Meetup.
Location: Rabaut Park, at intersection of 16th St. and Columbia Rd. NW. Time: meet at scheduled time - run leaves about five minutes later.
Distance and pace: flexible, typically 4 to 5 miles, from 8:30 to 10:00 min/mi. We vary distance and pace depending on who's there, so post if you have any preferences.
